Mythology
Games

Free browser games from the old stories. Play as Shevi, Levi, Bevi and five more avatars, each with a vahana to ride. On an iPad, a phone or a computer, alone or with friends, up to eight in a room.

We hand-ink every character in flat colour, like the painted scrolls. Nothing to download: the games play in your browser. One account saves your progress across all three games, and rooms for playing with friends are free.

The cast

The same eight in every game, each inspired by a god or goddess, each with their own vahana. Pick one to read their story.

Play together

Make a room and you get a four-letter code. Friends open the game, choose Online and type it in. Bots fill any empty places. Anyone who arrives late waits for the next round. Online play needs an account, so everyone in a room has a name.

Questions

Are the games free?
Yes. All three play free, right in your browser. Nothing to download.
Do I need an account?
Not to play on your own: your progress saves in your browser. You need one for online rooms, the leaderboards and keeping your progress on every device. It takes a name and a password, no email. Accounts are for players 13 and older.
How many people can play together?
Up to 8 in a room. Bots fill any empty places, and Myth Fighter battles can grow to 16 fighters.
What can I play on?
A phone, a tablet or a computer, in the browser. Touch screens get on-screen buttons; on a computer, use the keyboard or a gamepad.
Who are the heroes?
Eight avatars of our own, each inspired by a god or goddess of Hindu tradition: Shevi by Shiva, Levi by Vishnu, Bevi by Brahma, Gevi by Ganesha, Hevi by Hanuman, Kevi by Kali, Durvi by Durga and Muvi by Kartikeya. Meet the cast.

What's new

  1. In Myth Fighter all 8 heroes are open from the start, as in Myth Dash and Myth Kart. No stars or finished acts needed to play Gevi, Hevi, Kevi, Durvi or Muvi.
  2. New graphics in all three games. In Myth Kart the camera sits higher and further back, and each hero's vahana rides in the chariot with them. The Kart and Dash courses are dressed for a festival: gateways and bunting over the road, cheering crowds, market stalls, drummers, temple elephants. In Myth Fighter a crowd watches from the back of every arena and cheers at a knockout. Flags, lamp smoke, and a different floor in each place. Myth Dash shakes less at speed.
  3. Myth Fighter now has eight acts. Act 6 is Kevi’s: Raktabija, whose every drop of spilled blood rises as another of him, unless she drinks it first. Act 7 is Gevi’s: Gajamukhasura, whom no weapon can harm, and how Gevi came to ride a mouse. Act 8 is Hevi’s: Ravana and his ten heads, in a Lanka on fire.
  4. New pages for each hero: the god who inspired them and how to play them in each game. Also the story behind the games, the open rooms and the leaderboards. Online play now needs an account, and public rooms show on the Rooms page. Myth Dash gets a higher camera and a proper fall when you're knocked off, and you bump instead of coming off when you hit a cart or the roadside. Every game has a Send feedback button. Myth Rash is now called Myth Dash; old links still work.
  5. Myth Rash (now Myth Dash) and Myth Kart open, with online rooms for both. Hevi and Kevi get rides: Mriku the wind deer and Shriku the jackal. Accounts and leaderboards arrive.
  6. Myth Fighter adds Act 5 and Muvi, the eighth avatar, with Mayku the peacock. Rides now wait on the field: jump next to yours to climb on.
  7. Capture the Flag, scrolling story stages, and joining a match already under way.
