Privacy
Mythology Games tries to know as little about you as possible. This is everything.
Playing without an account
Your progress stays in your own browser, on your own device. We don’t even see it.
If you make an account
We save:
- the name you choose
- your password
- your recovery code
- your progress in each game, and your best scores
Your password and recovery code are saved scrambled, so we can’t read them. Signing in sets a cookie that keeps you signed in for 90 days.
We never ask for an email address, your real name, a phone number or where you live.
What other players see
When you play online, the others in your room see your account name and your hero. The list of open rooms shows the host’s name, the game and how many are playing. Once a room closes, nothing about it is kept. The leaderboards show your name, your score and the hero you played.
Feedback
If you send feedback from a game, we save:
- what you wrote
- what the game was doing at the time
- details of your device: screen size, browser, how smoothly the game ran and any recent errors
If you were signed in, it also carries your account name.
Stopping password guessing
We count failed sign-ins for each name and each internet address, to slow down anyone guessing passwords. Those counts are deleted after a day.
No adverts, no tracking
No adverts, no tracking and no analytics cookies. Cloudflare hosts the site and runs the online rooms.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time on the account page. That deletes your name, password, progress, scores and sign-ins straight away. Feedback you sent stays, but is no longer connected to you.
Accounts are for players 13 and older. Questions? Use Send feedback at the bottom of any page.
