Levi riding Sheshku

Levi

The Preserver

Inspired by Vishnu

The story

Levi is inspired by Vishnu, the preserver of the Trimurti, who keeps the world in balance. He rests on the great serpent Shesha, floating on the Ocean of Milk. He holds the Sudarshana chakra, a spinning discus, the Panchajanya conch, the Kaumodaki mace and a lotus, and he rides Garuda, king of birds. When the world is in danger he comes down in a new form, an avatar. As Narasimha, half man and half lion, he defeated Hiranyakashipu at dusk, on a threshold, on his lap. At the churning of the ocean he became Mohini to keep the nectar from the demons. When the demon Svarbhanu drank some in disguise, Vishnu’s chakra cut off his head. Levi rides Sheshku, his serpent, and calls on Garuda for a dash.

Ready from the start.

Levi’s chariot is pulled by Sheshku. Sheshku is steady and quick to answer the reins, a good chariot to learn on.

Every charioteer picks up the same items from the golden boxes, so the difference is in how the chariot handles.
